Shipping
All US domestic orders are sent via USPS 1st class starting at a cost of $6.25 or $14.00 for Priority Mail. I do offer FREE 1st class shipping for all US orders over $125.00, after all discounts/gift cards have been applied. No code is needed.
International orders depend on service chosen, destination and weight of package.
Regular international first class starts at $23.00 and increases by weight.
Small priority box will ship for $50.00
Please note that the client is responsible for their country’s import duties and taxes.
Items will be dispatched as soon as the funds are cleared or as arranged at time of purchase.
The Nitty Gritty Stuff
Credit Card Processing
I use Stripe, an accredited third-party credit card processor, to handle all online transactions. Their secure checkout system and shopping cart are fully visible to you during your purchase and support major debit and credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club.
All payments are encrypted and processed securely through Stripe. Your card details remain private and are never seen or stored by me or by anyone other than you.
Sales Tax
I apply sales tax to all purchases shipped to Minnesota and Wisconsin addresses, charged at the prevailing rates required by law.
Customs Fees for Overseas Shipments
Any customs duties, tariffs, import taxes, or related fees incurred on international shipments are the responsibility of the client. Lottie’s Trinkets is not liable for these charges in any form.
Guarantee
I take great care in designing and creating each piece of art jewelry, and I stand behind my work completely. If something isn’t as it should be, please contact me so I can make it right.
My standard guarantee covers 365 days from the date of purchase against design or craftsmanship defects. I will repair the item whenever possible; if a repair cannot be completed, I will provide a full refund of the original purchase price.
After the guarantee period, repairs are still available, though material and labor fees will apply, and refunds are no longer offered.
Returns
At Lottie's Trinkets, I want you to love your jewelry. Each piece is carefully selected or handcrafted with attention to detail, and we understand that sometimes an item simply isn't the right fit. We strive to make returns fair and straightforward for both our customers and my small business.
I accept returns of eligible items within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
Unworn and unused
In their original condition
Returned with any original packaging, tags, or included materials
Free from damage, alterations, or signs of wear
Earrings, for hygiene reasons are non-returnable unless damaged on arrival
Please contact me before returning an item so we can provide return instructions.
Unless an item arrived damaged or we made an error with your order, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Adjustments and Alterations
Most of my pieces are crafted to specific lengths and dimensions to preserve their design, balance, and overall wearability. This is especially true for earrings and necklaces. Some bracelets may be adjustable, but this varies by design. If you require a bracelet adjustment, please contact me in advance to confirm whether it is possible. Any approved adjustments will incur a fee to cover time and/or materials. All sale or discounted items are sold as-is and are not eligible for adjustment.
I do not alter, adjust, or repair jewelry made by other designers or commercially produced pieces.
Refunds
Once your returned item has been received and inspected, I will notify you regarding the status of your refund.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow several business days for your bank or payment provider to process the refund.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except when an item arrives damaged or I made an error with your order.
One-of-a-Kind & Natural Materials
Many pieces sold by Lottie's Trinkets feature natural gemstones, pearls, or other materials. Variations in color, pattern, texture, and shape are part of the natural beauty and uniqueness of these materials and are not considered defects.
Photographs are intended to represent each item as accurately as possible, but colors may appear differently depending on individual screens and devices.
Insurance
I carry general liability insurance.
